REAL RELIEF FOR THE 112TH

WORKING FAMILIES ARE GETTING SQUEEZED. I’LL FIGHT TO FIX IT.

Last winter, utility bills across our district averaged $360 in a single month, a 26% spike, and
delivery rates jumped again this April. Child care costs rival college tuition, and too many of our
neighbors are one medical bill away from crisis. I’m running a people-powered campaign to
deliver real relief for the 112th.

LOWER UTILITY BILLS

A 26% winter spike is unacceptable. I’ll intervene in rate cases at the Public Service Commission and fight for an independent utility consumer advocate.

A $3,000 CHILD TAX CREDIT

New York raised the child credit, but it still doesn’t cover a year of child care. My goal: build on the Working Families Tax Credit until families get $3,000.

NY HEALTHCARE FOR ALL

Pass the New York Health Act: no premiums, no deductibles, no medical debt, and most families pay less than they pay for coverage today.

Utility figures: avg. residential bill, Feb. 2026; delivery rate increases effective Apr. 1, 2026.

MEET MARIO

A WORKING PARENT FOR WORKING FAMILIES

I am the proud son of immigrants. My mother came from Guyana and my father from Italy. They worked hard, played by the rules, and became proud American citizens.

I grew up in Queens learning the value of community and hard work. After college I moved to Clifton Park and built a career as an engineer supporting the world’s greatest Navy. Today I serve on the Clifton Park Town Board.

I’m not just a public servant. I’m a working parent. My wife and I have two young children, one in elementary school and one in preschool. I know the real struggle of balancing career and family, because I live it every day.

Affordability isn’t a talking point for me. It’s my kitchen table.

MY RECORD

PROVEN IN CLIFTON PARK

Flipped Clifton Park. In two elections I helped flip Clifton Park from solid red to blue, defeating three Republicans.
Transparency. Increased public speaking time and began live-streaming all Planning and Zoning meetings.
Environmental protection. Lowered EV charging rates, appointed a Planning Board chairman who prioritizes environmental concerns, started bidding for new trails, and am working to transition the town to heat pumps.
Equality. Equalized overtime policies across all departments, regardless of gender.
Open space. Fighting for open space, protecting our farms, and open governance.
Affordability. Passed a law regulating short-term rentals to help keep housing more affordable for local residents.
Utility costs. Banned data centers to protect residents from higher utility rates.
